Prayers Answered

Thank you to everyone who prayed for Adam. The prayers were answered! They said he is ready for the Glenn Shunt (open heart surgery) on Wednesday. Another scary moment. Here is some pictures of him before and after the Heart Cath.

Hello everyone I hope you had a nice Easter. Adam is going in for a heart cath on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. Please pray for him during the procedure that he will do alright. I am getting a little scared.

Big Boy

Little Adam likes to eat at the table instead of his highchair. He refuses to eat if we put him in there. I am having a problem with him choking on his food even though it is cut up really small. Has anyone had this problem with their children if so what did you do.? My son Justin had his speech therapist here at home and Little Adam started choking and she had to get it dislodged. Here is a picture of him at the table.

The Second Call

Hello everyone! I just got the second call for Adam's surgery. It is going to be on April 14th at 8:00 a.m. we have to arrive at the Cleveland Clinic at 6:30 a.m. he is the first case.

Just Got The Call

Hello Everyone! I just got the call that his heart catherization is April 6th. The procedure is going to take 2 to 3 hours. This time it is longer than when he was 2 months old. I am praying that everything will go well. Will update when I get the call for the open heart surgery.

Cardiologist Appointment Today

Hello Everyone! Thank you for praying for Adam. The heart doctor said that his echo and EKG looked good today. He said that he is sorry for scaring me about Adam going into respiratory distress. But he pushed up his surgery month though instead of May or June it will be in April. I am waiting for a call to find out what date. He has to have a heart cath first then 1 week later his open heart surgery. But here is some pictures I took.

Prayer Request

Hi Everyone! I just got off the phone with Adam's cardiologist. He wants to see Adam Friday instead of the 15th of this month. He thinks that he is going into respiratory distress. Due to the band they have on his pulmonary artery. Please pray that he will not go into respiratory distress and that he does really well until Friday. I am so scared right now that I do not think that I am going to sleep tonight.
